My Story

I grew up looking different at first glance. The world's small-minded reaction shaped my sense of self. Later, I had two facial surgeries and spent four hours at the gym each day - until life forced me to realize: neither a brand new face nor a brand new body automatically leads to brand new self-esteem. Inspired by this I have been studying the art and science of inner change and well-being for more than 22 years now.

With this personal project I want to bring depth to the conversation on beauty—and give back.
